The company boasts famous locally brewed brands, such as Serengeti Premium Lager, Tusker Lager, Tusker Light, Kibo Gold, Pilsner Lager, Senator just to name a few. Key Purpose of the role

The purpose of the role is “Cycle Planning and Briefing” i.e the process that results in decisions being made, and communicated appropriately (with full supporting materials), about the specific activity that field sales will deliver to  our customers each sales cycle, and achieve our commercial and wider business objectives.
Cycle planning and briefing is not just important, it is critical. It enables us to ensure the right activity is brilliantly executed in the right outlets at the right time and our sales teams have everything they need to do this. It should thus ensure the maximum return on investment from Below-The-Line spends.

Therefore, we are seeking applications for the role of HR Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the strategic and operational people performance and culture functions for the school.

This exciting role is ideal for the more experienced  senior HR professional with management experience who is now able to take time out and looking for their next challenge.

A minimum commitment of at least  two years is required. 

Key Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with Senior Management Team, Business Unit Leaders, and Academic Leaders to develop and implement key HR strategies and functions;
    • Lead the development of effective human resource and Organisational development policies, procedures and guidelines including their understanding and implementation across the school;
    • Provide advice and guidance to the Senior Management Team in relation to general HR and Organisational matters and work closely with them on strategic and complex employee management issues;
    • Work closely with line managers and employees to foster communication and consultation to ensure that employment or industrial issues are resolved effectively and in line with policies and Tanzanian Labour Laws;
    • Provide professional timely and accurate advice on matters including: disciplinary, resignations & terminations, performance management, position reviews and classification and industrial relations

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

    • Tertiary qualification in Organisational psychology, Human Resources Management and / or significant demonstrated experience in organisational development or human resources management;
    • Proven capacity to operate at both strategic and operational/functional level;
    • Proven track record in senior management in Organisational development and/or human resources management;
    • Possess tact, diplomacy and the capacity to interact with a multi faceted team in a cooperative manner;
    • Highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal and influencing skills;
    • Demonstrated experience in initiating and driving change with resilience, energy and creativity;
    • Good computer skills in Microsoft suite;
    • Experience in working in education or developing country or  NGO or large organisation would be desirable

Job Opportunity: Team Leader [GFA CONSULTING GROUP]

The aim of the applied research project is to explore how social protection systems are and should be designed to guarantee the inclusion of persons with disabilities. The project will consist of three country studies, which will each be conducted by one dedicated research team per country in the same time period. In Vietnam research will be undertaken with the GIZ Social Protection programme (basic social protection), in Tanzania with the GIZ Social Protection and Health programme (social health insurance) and in Peru with the GIZ Good Governance programme (quality of social services). The results of the three country studies are to be combined and integrated into an internationally applicable, scientifically sound and gender sensitive toolbox, which will assist the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation (BMZ) and the international community in designing social protection systems inclusive of persons with disabilities.

Job description:
The Team Leader will be responsible for data collection, data processing and analysis, training of field staff, monitoring and supervision, communication with the partners, including the GIZ coordinator and disability experts etc. S/he will be in charge of 6 national field research staff.
